Welcome to Menlo Atherton Pop Warner

Home of the Vikings

  • Do you have someone at home who wants to play football, or learn to cheer? The MA Vikings are the place to be.

  • Our 2015 Mitey Mite team won the championship invitation bowl game at DisneyWorld in Orland, Florida.

    • Our 2011 PeeWee team represented the Pacific Northwest Region at the 2011 Pop Warner National Championships at DisneyWorld in Orlando, Florida.

    • Pop Warner is the strongest and best organized football league in the Bay Area.

    • Our community footprint gives us a wonderfully diverse, cross-community feel unlike any other local club.

    • We have FUN! The players, the parents, coaches and volunteers end each season with a tremendous sense of accomplishment and enjoyment.

The MA Vikings is a non-profit 501©3 youth sports organization serving children in Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portola Valley and Atherton, with a number of players and coaches from nearby areas such as Woodside and East Palo Alto. We teach children ages 5-15 the love of the game, competition and sportsmanship in an educational environment, equipping the participants with both character development and athletic skills.

If this is your first visit and you have questions such as, “Why Pop Warner?” or “Why are the Vikings a great team to play for?” Please visit our FAQ to find those answers and more, such as typical schedules, along with a great Viking coach/parent interview conducted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL last November when our PeeWee team competed for a national title in the Pop Warner National Championships.

For a national article on the Vikings, posted on the PW Championship Daily Field Blog click here and scroll halfway down to the December 6, 2011 entry.

The Vikings are an all volunteer organization, with great coaches and parent volunteers. Peninisula Pop Warner is by far the strongest and best league in the Bay Area. As part of PPW, the Vikings field great teams, we expect to play the best teams toe-to-toe and if so blessed, compete for local, regional and national recognition.

And we're going to keep on having fun!!
